Adjust-A-Thrust for Sea-Doo Watercraft and Jet Boat Early Sea-Doo jet pumps were a model of inefficiency. Of course, back then, all jet pumps were the same, so why pick on Sea-Doo. The second generation pumps with the plastic stator sections did a much better job of processing water. The Sea-Doo 155 pump, introduced on the ’97 ½ GSX LTD is their best effort at harnessing the power of water. Unfortunately, it is only available in craft equipped with the 951 engine. Another nice pump that Sea-Doo makes first appeared on the Sportser Jet Boats, commonly reffered to as the "C" Pump, it looks like a smaller version of the 155 pump. We make a model of the Adjust-A-Thrust for this pump, and you can find it on the Skat-Trak page, it is the Sk26.The stock exit nozzle on most late model Sea-Doos is plastic and does not lend itself
well to boring . In order to get more low end out of a Sea-Doo, a lighter pitched impeller
should be installed, or an aftermarket adjustable nozzle can be used. Most serious Sea-Doo
tuners already have a nozzle on their craft. Installing the Adjust -A-Thrust on a stock
pump will get you more top end, with no loss of low end power. The Adjust-A-Thrust is
larger than the stock tailcone, this reduces the volume of water within the bowl of the
pump. Because of this, there is less space to fill before water exits the pump, allowing a
higher water velocity to be maintained. This is a big bonus in rough water, where there is
a noticeable improvement in acceleration and hookup.
